Freddy Mac and Rookie Kevin Sponagle Claim Victories In Double Header

Tuesday Night we were up on the Tri-Oval for the first time this season with races for the Sportsman and IROC divisions. We had 10 racers on hand that participated in each event. In the Sportsman race Fred McCullough took the victory winning 4 of his 6 segments on road to his victory. Second went to Randy Haydt who won 1 segment in his strong run on the Tri-Oval. Hiester Twins Sweep Sprtsman and IROC Series Openers

Tuesday Night at Randy’s Raceway were the openers for the Sportsman and IROC classes.  In the Sportsman it was Sheldon Hiester taking the victory, winning 4 out of the 6 segments on his way to the victory.  Second place went to Bob Amore, who won 5 segments on the night on his way to a strong second place finish. Sheldon takes Sportsman Win, Jim Wins Second IROC in a Row

Tuesday November 26, 2010 was the second race for the Sportsman and IROC divisions at Randy’s Raceway for the 2010 – 2011 season.  There were 15 drivers in attendance for the event.  Taking the win on Monk’s short track was Sheldon Hiester.  Sheldon drove the Josh Biever prepared Sportsman to 5 victories on the night.  Second went to little brother Shane Hiester who drove his Brad “Pap Pap” Brightbill to 4 victories on the night for a close second place finish.  Coming home third on the night was Lim Levan in another one of his really slow cars.  Jim won 1 segment on the night.

Hiester Wins Sportsman / Levan Wins I R O C

Tuesday Night was the 2010-2011 season opener for the Sportsman and I R O C divisions.  The Sportsman race had 13 drivers on hand for the event.  The event was won by Shillington, PA’s Shane Hiester winning 5 of 6 segments on the Tri-Oval, missing the perfect night by only 2 track sections.  Second went to Bob Amore winning 4 segments on his way to a good run.  Third went to Mark Williams who won 2 segments and was the driver who kept Shane from his perfect night.  Fourth went to Randy Haydt who ran on the lead lap in every segment but couldn’t get the segment win.  Rounding out the top 5 was Sheldon Hiester who won 1 segment.  The Sixth through tenth finishers were: 6th- Billy Decker, 7th- John Kosmoski, 8th-Jim Levan, 9th-Brian Vanbuskirk, and 10th- Cory Reinhart.
