Big Block Starting Line
Race 2 of the BLMRS took place Saturday at Tom Wenner’s Speedway and Mark Williams scored 3 segment wins to score the Big Block win. It was Mark’s 1st of the season and 5th career BB win. Making his 1st start in the Series Fred McCullough scored 3 segment wins on way to a strong 2nd place run. Randy Haydt scored a segment win on lane 6 crossing the line 3rd. Tim “Little T” Bowers scored 2 segment wins finishing 4th. Sheldon Hiester scored 1 segment win to close out the Top 5. Shane Hiester scored 1 segment win to finish 6th. Nick Wummer scored 1 segment win on way to a good 7th place finish. Scott Bender finished 8th. Only 2 pieces of track behind Toby Reinhard was 9th. Cory Reinhard scored 1 segment win was 10th. 11th Ed Kenderdine 12th Tom Wenner ( 1 win ) 13th Billy Decker 14th Savannah Cunnius

Small Block racing capped off the day and Randy Haydt drew the #1 pill and drove off to his 1st SB win of the year. Randy scored 2 segment wins on way to his 3rd career SB win.1 lap behind Sheldon Hiester scored 3 segment wins on way to a 2nd place finish. Just 22 pieces of track behind Mark Williams scored a segment win on lane 4 to finish 3rd. Shane Hiester scored 3 segment wins crossing the line 4th. Capping off a good day Fred McCullough also scored 1 segment win to close out the Top 5. Tom Wenner scored a segment win on lane 3 to finish 6th.Toby Reinhard scored 2 segment wins to finish 7th. Cory Reinhard finish 8th, Savvy scored 1 segment win to finish 9th. Scott Bender finished 10th.11th Tim “Little T” Bowers, 12th Nick Wummer 13th Billy Decker 14th Ed Kenderdine.

Good having Fred McCullough making his 1st start in the BLMRS. Big Block racing had 9 different segment winners. Good run for Nick W in BBlock getting a segment win and 7th place finish. Small Block racing had 8 different segment winners. Good run by Tom Wenner with a segment win and a 6th place run in SBlocks. Also Savvy got a segment win and 9th place finish.
