“Little T” Sweeps Small Block Closer

chuckyfinish

Close finish with Jim taking the win. Chucky did not like this !

After a short break for re watering and grating of the track surface the Small Block main rolled off and Tim “Little T” Bowers pulled off the sweep on way to his 2nd Small Block win of the Series running the Norm Hansell #357. Tim scored 5 segment wins with no fall offs to complete the sweep. Randy Haydt scored 2 segment wins on way to a steady 2nd place finish. Gary Hetrick scored 4 segment wins turning in a very good 3rd place finish. Jim Levan scored 2 segment wins finishing 4th. Last weeks winner at “Little T’s” Dave Fitzgerald seems to be getting these Hot Stocks figured out scored 3 segment wins to round out the Top 5.

Chucky upset because of close finish probably caused this wreak in turn 4.

Close racing in Big Blocks as the Top 5 were within 1 lap and 13 sections. Good runs by Brian Sponagle 2nd, Bill Rowley 6th and John Kosmoski 7th. Tim’s win in Big Blocks makes it 3 different winners in that division. Small Block race had a non stop segment with Tony Z, Gary H, Mark W, Cory R, Adam Z, and Toby R. Group voted to continue Series next year and adding Randy’s Tri-Oval. Congrats to Series winners Jim Levan ( Big Blocks ) and Randy Haydt ( Small Blocks ).
