Notes and News

We had 19 racers entered this week, Matt H was a first time participant, welcome.  Cory Reinhard had another good run and came home 12th in a tough field.  His Dad Toby had a tough night on the Tri-Oval and finished 17th.  The Eric Beard team has struggled this season with getting top ten finishes.  The newest member of the team Chris Brubaker has been the bright spot so far.  Chris has two straight top tens. Randy’s Raceway would like to thank Shane and Sheldon for the parts they supplied to the winner of the losing ticket 50/50 drawing.

The Veterans Day ECHORR event was held at Randy’s Raceway II over last weekend.  16 racers competed in three divisions with our own regular Bryan Kisthart bringing home two wins and a second.  Derek Sheaffer won the Super Stock event.  Thanks to Bryan K for great cars that I got to drive.  The Indy ride was my favorite.  Randy did his usual fine job of organizing and keeping everything moving.  All three shows were completed by 2:30.  It was also great having local HO Legend Tom Hiester racing at my house.  First time since the early 80’s.
