Brett Gilmore Returns and Wins

Brett Gilmore a former Modified Champion here made a rare start, his first in almost two years and won the feature after scoring segment wins in all but 1 lane.  Gilmore drove the family GTB car to the victory on the 8 Lane.  20 racers were in attendance for the 20 lap races in which we had 7 different lane winners.  The driver with the lowest number of falloffs was Cory Reinhard with just 6.  Second in the main event went to the #7 of Mark Williams ( 2 seg wins ) third was Billy Decker who kept his early season success going ( 4 seg wins ) fourth spot went to Bryan Kisthart who had a strong showing winning 2 segments.  Rounding out the top five was Sheldon Hiester the defending Points champion.

With Scott Bender home sick we had zero lane infractions and the 50/50 went off smoothly.   Thanks Donna for filling in for Scott.  Next week is NASCAR on the 8 lane followed by practice on the Road course.  Don’t forget the ECHORR Veteran’s Day race at Mark and Jody’s on Sunday for all the road racers in Berks County and beyond.
