Gilmore, Williams Sweeps to Wins

Brett Gilmore made his 1st Cup start of the season a sweep on way to the win on the Tri-Oval. It was the 3rd different winner in this division. Opening night winner Randy Haydt scored 3 segment wins, on way to a 2nd place finish. Less than 1 lap behind, Sheldon Hiester scored 3 segment wins, winning on lanes 1 & 2, to come home 3rd. Only 12 pieces of track behind was Jim Levan winning 1 segment, on way to a 4th place finish. Mark Williams had a slow start on lanes 1 & 2 ( mostly because he had to deal with Randy at the scoring table most of the night ) but still scored 2 segment wins finishing 5th.
