Less than 1 lap behind Shane Hiester scored 1 segment win on way to a 3rd place finish. Only 11 pieces of track behind was Jim Levan scoring 3 segment wins to finish 4th. Toby Reinhard turned in a steady 5th place finish.

It was the season opener for sprint cars and Mark Williams capped off a good night with 5 segment wins to score the victory. Shane Hiester also had a good night scoring 3 segment wins on way to a 2nd place run. Sheldon Hiester won 2 segments finishing 3rd. Jim Levan was steady winning 1 segment finishing 4th.
