Mark Williams Makes it Two in a Row

Modified racing was back on the 8 lane fast track and Modified Champion Mark Williams scored his 2nd straight modified win. Mark scored 4 segment wins on lanes 2, 4, 6, and 8 to claim the win. Randy Haydt ran his “CHUCKY” machine to a strong 2nd place finish, winning 1 segment. “CHUCKY” had a much better set up in his car this week. Cory Reinhard turned in a career best finish with a very good 3rd place run, scoring 2 segment wins. Steady Bryan Kisthardt scored 3 segment wins crossing the line 4th. Making a strong season debut, Mike Fitzgerald scored 4 segment wins on the outer lanes for a 5th place finish.

6th Toby Reinhard ( 2 wins ) / 7th John Kosmoski / 8th Scott Bender / 9th Billy Decker ( 1 win ) / 10th Jim LeVan.

Good having Mike and Dave Fitzgerald along with Brian Sponagle making their season debut. Mike had a 5th place run, Brian S 12th, and Dave Fitzgerald 13th. John Kosmoski scored a nice 7th place finish. Good field of 18 racers filled the pit area. The 1st random tear down took place, winner Mark Williams along with 2 random picks which were Jim LeVan and Brian Sponagle, all passed. Finally I’m hoping for Jim LeVan to go over the new line up procedures ?

Racing this Saturday at “Little T’s” warm up at 1 racing at 3.

NEXT WEEK: 1st Doubleheader with NASCAR ( 12 LAPS ) and IROC on the 8 lane.
