Mark Williams Scores Close Win on The  Tri-Oval

Mark Williams scored his 3rd Modified win of the season on the Tri-Oval Tuesday night. Mark scored 4 segment wins as he had to hold off a strong challenge from Cory Reinhard who also claimed 4 segment wins and just missed out on his 2nd straight win by 21 pieces of track. Following closely behind, Randy Haydt ran his sharp looking Freddy Adam machine to 3 segment wins on way to a good 3rd place finish. Just 14 pieces of track behind, Jim LeVan had a good night scoring 3 segment wins to cross the line in 4th. Brian Sponagle had another good run on the Tri-Oval scoring 3 segment wins on way to a 5th place finish. Good run for Mike Mackaravitz scoring 1 segment win to finish 6th, Tom Wenner was 7th, Scott Bender scored 1 segment win to finish 8th, Billy Decker was 9th and Tm “Little T” Bowers scored 1 segment win was 10th.

Infield Action:

Glad to have new comer Gene Koose with us, did a good job for his 1st time on the Tri-Oval with no fall offs. Top 3 were separated by 1 lap. Good to see Mike M. nearly making the Top 5 and getting a segment win, also Rob L turning in a good 13th place finish. Finally not many details available yet on Spanky’s condition as he got hit again by Randy !  Stay Tuned.
