Mark Williams Tames Tri-Oval

Modified racing moved to the Tri – Oval for the 2nd race of the season Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Mark Williams ran his Gilmore #7 to his 1st feature win of the year. Mark scored 5 segment wins on way to a close win. Only 7 pieces of track behind Opening night winner Shane Hiester scored 4 segment wins to come home 2nd. Sheldon Hiester collected 3 segment wins to finish 3rd. Billy Decker ran his Ryan Godown #747 to 1 segment win on way to a good 4th place finish. Bryan Kisthart also scored 1 segment win to finish out the top 5.

Close racing on the Tri-Oval as 4th to 7th place were separated by only 17 pieces of track. Back in the field Bill Brenner was racing his Eric Beard prepared machine scored 2 segment wins  just missing out of the top 10. Also Randy Stitzel made his 1st start of the year hope to see him back.
