Shane Hiester “SWEEPS” for Second Cup Win

NASCAR racing returned to the Short Track for it’s 3rd race of the season, and Shane Hiester completed a sweep for his 2nd win of the early going. Close racing within the rest of the Top5, Sheldon Hiester collected 2 segment wins on lanes 1&6 to come home 2nd. Only 4 pieces of track behind opening night winner Jim Levan scored 1 segment win to finish 3rd. Only 7 pieces of track of the pace Rookie Bryan Kisthardt ran the Budweiser # 8 to 1 segment win for a strong 4th place finish. Only 1 lap behind Toby Reinhardt turned in a career best 5th place finish with a consistent run all night.

6 – 10  6th Randy Haydt (2wins) / 7th Billy Decker (1win) / 8th Mark Williams (1win) / 9th Mike Fitzpatrick / 10th Cory Reinhardt.

CUP STUFF

Good to see newcomer Bryan Kisthardt get a  4th place finish with 1 segment win, and veteran Toby Reinhardt looking real strong as he scored a 5th place run. Close racing all through out the field as 6th – 8th were separated by only 11 pieces of track. Randy Haydt scored 2 segment wins along with wrecking most of the field during the night. Certain people were out of their boxes? What happened to Mark’s beautiful purple Cup body ?
