It was a Holiday Twin 15’s event on the Short track at Randy’s Raceway with the Sportsmen class starting the night off and Sheldon Hiester scored his 1st win of the year scoring 5 segment wins. Only 8 pieces of track behind Jim Levan scored 4 segment wins on the middle lanes to come home 2nd.The next 3 spots were separated by only 3 pieces of track. Opening night winner Shane Hiester scored 2 segment wins to finish 3rd. Mark Williams turned in a good run winning 1 segment to finish 4th. Mike Feltenberger rebounded from a slow start on lane 1, won 5 segments to close out the Top 5.

Jim Levan Scores Cup Win
NASCAR racing closed out the night and Jim Levan (running a car that was not that good) scored his 2nd win of the year winning 3 segments on way to a narrow win. Only 3 pieces of track behind point leader Shane Hiester scored 3 segment wins on the inside lanes to turn in a 2nd place finish. Following closely behind, by only 4 pieces of track Sheldon Hiester scored 2 segment wins to finish 3rd. Randy Haydt turned in a steady 4th place run winning 1 segment. Mike Feltenberger scored 3 segment wins to close out the Top 5.

Talkin Turkey
Another good field of 17 racers were in the pits. Sheldon Hiester’s win made it 4 winners in each of the 4 races run. Cup action saw Corey Bailey winning his 1st segment and a good 8th place finish. Good job to everybody for running the Twin show in about 2 hours. Finally look for Jim Levan to do some work on his cars since as he says his cars are not that good ? ?
