The Berks / Lebanon Modified Racing Series ran its final race of the season on Saturday at Little T’s Speedway in Myerstown. PA. Small Block racing opened up the day and Little T turned in a perfect’ run winning all 6 segments with no fall offs on way to his 1st Small Block win. Randy Haydt scored 1 segment win to

come home 2nd, with that finish it was enough to claim the point title by 6 points. Toby Reinhard claimed 2 segment wins on lanes 5 & 6, for a 3rd place run it was his 1st Series Top 5.

Gary Hetrick had a very consistent 4th place finish, no segment wins, but 3 runs of 14.29 also made it his 1st Berks Series Top 5. Jim Levan scored 3 segment wins to come home with a good 5th place finish. Bill

Rowley had his best Small Block finish in 6th, Brian Sponagle was 7th ( 3 wins ) / Tony Zappacosta was 8th ( 2 wins ) / Sam Heller 9th ( 1 win ) / Mark Williams finished 10th ( 1 win ).

Small Block Talk:

Close racing in Top 10 as 2nd to 5th were separated by18 pieces of track and 6th to 10th by only 25 pieces of track. Good to see 9 different segment winners. Steady run by Gary Hetrick with a 4th and Tony Z getting in the win column and an 8th place finish.

The Big Block Modifieds finish off the season and Randy Haydt capped off a strong Berks / Lebanon Series with the win. Randy ran that mean looking “Chucky” machine to almost a sweep scoring 5 segment wins on way to a slim 4 piece of track win over Tim ” Little T ” Bowers who scored 4 segment wins to finish 2nd. John Kosmoski finished off a strong week with 1 segment win and his best Series finish was

3rd. Only 1 piece of track behind Jim Levan scored 5 segment wins finishing 4th. Bob Amore scored 1 segment win for a 5th place finish. Toby Reinhard finished 6th ( 2 wins ), Mark Williams was 7th ( 1 win ), Bill Rowley 8th, Gary Hetrick 9th ( 1 win ), Sam Heller 10th.

Nice run by John K 3rd and a segment win, Bob Amore his 1st segment win and 5th. Gary Hetrick with his 1st segment win. Thanks to Little T for all the snacks that were provided and to Nick Wummer for the Rusty Wallace model that  was given away. With the field of 20 racers thanks to everyone who helped getting everything done in about 3 hours.
