Brett Gilmore won his third Sportsman feature in a row
and Randy Haydt won for the second time this season in the I R O C division on Tuesday night at the Berks Tri-Oval. Brett Gilmore won the Sportsman race after winning 4 segments in his #12 car. Second spot went to Sheldon Hiester who also won 4 segments and looked real strong all night. Shane Hiester finished 3rd with 1 win and Mark Williams came home 4th in Shane’s second car also winning 1 segment. Billy Decker grabbed his best finish since his return to racing rounding out the top 5.
The I R O C show went to the racing promoter Randy Haydt who won 2 segments. Mark Williams was 2nd also with 2 wins. These two guys have won the last 2 I R O C Point Championships but are currently out of the top 5 in points this season. Third went to Shane Hiester, 2 wins followed by Jim Levan and Bob Amore 2 wins. Current point leader Sheldon Hiester wound up 6th. We had 14 racers in attendance.
