Brett Gilmore the defending Modified Points Champion solidified his strangle hold
on this seasons points standings as he captured his 5th feature win in a row on Tuesday Night at Randy’s Raceway. Gilmore ran his #46 Datsun Replica Modified bodied racer to a perfect 8 segment win. The battled was really waged for second between veterans Shane Hiester and Jim Levan. Shane was actually well on his way to a perfect run until first older brother Sheldon and then Jim Levan beat him while he ran lanes 7 and 8. Shane won 6 segments to garner the runner-up position on the evening. With that finish he also secured third place in the season standings. Jim Levan who won the first two features this year won 4 segments on his way to a solid third. Fourth went to Mark Williams who won 5 segments and Sheldon Hiester rounded out the top 5 with a single segment win.
