Brett Gilmore Scores 2nd Sportsman Win

It was a holiday Twin 15 at Randy’s Raceway with the Sportsman running their 3rd race of the season





and Brett Gilmore turned in his 2nd straight win with a sweep. Shane Hiester turned in his 2nd straight runner up finish with 2 segment wins. Only 15 pieces of track behind Sheldon Hiester recorded his best Sportsmen finish with steady 14’s coming home 3rd. Bob Amore recorded his 3rd top 5 finish, winning 2 segments finishing 4th. Jim Levan continued his strong season with a 5th place effort. 6th Mark Williams (1win) / 7th Mike Wentzel / 8th Scott Bender / 9th Randy Haydt / 10th Dennis Kersher.
 
Bender Collects First I R O C Win

The 3rd I R O C race of the year featured lightning fast Tyco pan-chassis cars prepared by Monk. Scott Bender scored his 1st career I R O C win winning 1 segment, on way to a slim 6 piece of track win over point leader Sheldon Hiester. Sheldon scored 3 segment wins on way to his 3rd top 5 I R O C finish of the year. It was the 3rd different winner in I R O C racing this year. Mark Williams turned in his best I R O C finish of the year with a 3rd place finish. Shane Hiester rebounded from a slow start on lane 2, winning 3 segments to finish 4th. Brett Gilmore won 2 segments to close out the top 5.
