Brett Gilmore won the modified feature just missing a perfect run
after Billy Decker answered the call on lane 8 in a classic showdown between the top two drivers this season. Decker eventually won that race but it was not enough as the young Fleetwood racer scored an impressive win taking his first 7 segments. Decker grabbed second winning 5 segments and was followed closely by Bob Amore in his fast modified. Amore won 1 segment but was real strong down low and grabbed a good third place finish. Fourth was Phoenixville’s Sam Heller followed by Oaks racer Rich Pigeon who scored his best finish this season.

Did anybody really see Randy’s new monitor? Rich Pigeon and Frank Shillinger have been spending some time getting their cars back into top form. Pigeon took a 5th this week and has been seen at the parts truck. Buckle up because when his cars are right they can cause some trouble up front. A special thank you to Ted and Lincoln VanPelt for all the donations this season for the modified class. This week it’s back to Monks track for a double I R O C show.
