GILMORE, HAYDT B C O S WINNERS

The green flag waved at the start of the Berk’s 8th season of racing on Saturday at Randy’s Raceway.
On the Tri-Oval Kenny Gilmore turned in a perfect run on way to the
opening day win, his7th career win in the B C O S Billy Decker
continued to run good on the Tri-Oval, winning 2 segments to post a
good 2nd place finish. Rich Schmidt ran steady 19 s all day to come
home third. Scott Bender struggled on lanes 1 & 2, but still
managed to finish fourth. Good to see Bob Zelano in the field and
finishing fifth. 6th Randy Haydt, 7th Bob Amore 8th, John Kosmoski 9th,
Alex Amore.
HAYDT SCORES WILD I R O C WIN
The 15 lap I R O C opener turned into a fun and action packed crash
fest, and Randy Haydt who drew pill #1 won 2 segments on way to his 6th
career I R O C win. Randy’s win was only 5 sections of track ahead of
Rich Schmidt who won 3 segments to register a second place finish.
Scott Bender finished third, Bob Amore won 1 segment to finish fourth.
Billy Decker who mentioned many many many times during the I R O C
event how much he loved these Storm cars finished in fifth.
