Gilmores Claim Cup and Sprint Checkers

Cup action returned to the 8 lane on Tuesday night


and Brett Gilmore turned in a sweep on way to his 4th straight Cup win. Jim Levan continues a strong cup season, winning 1 segment, scoring a 2nd place finish. Bob Amore kept his string of top 5’s alive winning 1 segment finishing 3rd. Sheldon Hiester  turned in a steady run, his 4th top 5 finish, finishing 4th. Randy Haydt scored 2 segment wins, his 3rd top5 finish of the year, to round out the top 5.

Kenny Gilmore turned in a sweep on way to his 4th straight sprint car win of the year. Randy Haydt scored 2 segment wins, on way to his best sprint car finish this year was 2nd. Jim Levan brought out a nice orange #1 sprint car, winning 2 segments, to finish 3rd. Billy Decker also scored his best sprint car finish of the year, winning 2 segments to finish 4th. Sheldon Hiester also capped off a good night winning 1 segment to finish 5th.

Coming Saturday March 6th is the Berk’s County Mini Series warm-ups at 9 on the Tri-Oval.
