Going into the season opener at R M S for Tyco modifieds, Sam Heller had swept the previous 2 events.
On this Sunday it was no different as Heller continued his perfect
season at R M S. Rich Schmidt also scored 4 segment wins on way to a
perfect day also. Brett Reitz scored 3 segment wins on way to a career
best third place finish. Bill Rowley and Ryan Reitz ran side by side
and finished in a tie for fifth. 6th Scott Bender 7th / Jim Levan / 8th
Gary Hetrick / 9th Bruce Heller / 10th Kenra Schmidt.
DUKE SAYS:
Making their 1st starts on Sunday were Larry DePretropaolo,
and the youngest racer so far at R M S 4 year old Kendra Schmidt who
won 1 segment. Good to see 12 racers in the opening day field.
