Going into the 1st season of racing on the new oval at RMS it was anybody’s guess on who would find the best setup on the new track. Sam Heller scored some pre-season summer wins and continued to turn in dominant runs during the winter season on his way to the title. Sam tallied 6 wins and finished in the top 5 all season, as he had to hold off track owner Rich Schmidt by only 10 points. Rich also turned in a great season with 6 wins and consistent top 5 efforts all year long. Ryan Reitz also turned in a good season as he had 7 top 5 finishes to come home third. Only 5 points behind, Bill Rowley was consistent all season long as he collected 9 top 5 finishes on way to a solid 4th place finish. Bruce Heller was the surprise of the year, as he scored 3 top 5 finishes, carrying him to a strong 5th place finish in the final standing.
