Hiester Brothers Sweep Randy’s Raceway

Shane Hiester won his first Sportsman feature of the season and locked
up second place


in the season points standings.  Hiester dominated in the stock Tyco class made famous at his Dad’s track for many seasons just missing a perfect run by 2 pieces of track.  The youngest brother won 5 of six segments and just missed winning on lane 5.   Second spot went to Bob Amore winner of 4 segments on his favorite track the super smooth 6 lane Monk’s track.  Third spot went to Randy Haydt in a Shane Hiester backup machine and he won 1 segment.  Fourth was the first Sportsman Point Champion Brett Gilmore who won 3 segments.  Rounding out the top five was Mark Williams in another Hiester backup car and he scored 1 segment win.  18 racers were on hand for the final Sportsman show of a successful inaugural season for the division. 
 
Sheldon Hiester won his first I R O C feature of the season and in doing so secured his first ever championship taking the I R O C crown.  Hiester won 2 segments on his way to the victory.  Second went to former IROC Champ Mark Williams followed by Shane Hiester, Jim Levan and Scott Bender.
