Veteran racer Sheldon Hiester won his 4th Modified feature of the season this week at Randy’s Raceway. This was also his fourth feature win in a row overall at the Berks speedplant. Hiester won 4 segments on his way to victory. Shane Hiester was runnerup also winning 4 segments. Mark Williams continued his good runs on the Tri-oval with a third place. Williams won 4 segments in a Sheldon backup car, although he crashed out on lane six and cost himself a shot at the win. Fourth went to Mike Fitzgerald who won a segment and has really been getting around good lately. Rounding out the top five was Mike Feltenberger with 2 segment wins.

Sheldon Hiester picked up his 5th career modified feature win tying him with Rich Pigeon and Sam Heller for 7th on the all time win list. Scott Bender is again kicking around retirement from modifed racing. That comes the week he decides to try size 66 tires on lane one of tri-oval.
