Cup racing returned for it’s 3rd race of the season on the 8 lane Speedway and Kenny Gilmore made his 1st start a narrow win. Kenny scored 3 segment wins on way to a close 5 piece of track win. Mark Williams ran his brightly colored, un-sponsored, and numberless yellow machine to 5 segment wins for a 2nd place run. Tim ” Big T ” Bowers ran a real sharp looking Alan Kulwicki #7 to 3 segment wins for a good 3rd place finish. Bryan Kisthart again turned in a steady run winning 1 segment to come home 4th. Sheldon Hiester scored 1 segment win to close out the Top 5.

CUP CRASHES:
Top 3 were separated by only 8 segments.That was the 3rd different winner in 3 cup events. Corey Bailey did a good job for his 1st time on the flag stand. Toby Reinhard ran good on the middle lanes scoring a segment win on lane 3. With the road course race coming up several drivers stayed afterwards getting some track time, the road course will also be ready after the next Cup race.
