Making his 1st appearance of the year Kenny “Monk” Gilmore scored 7 segment wins to capture the win, becoming the 5th different winner in 6 events. Mark Williams scored 6 segment wins on way to a solid runner up finish, his 2nd top 5 finish of the season. Point leader Shane Hiester turned in a steady run all night, and notched 1 segment win on lane 8 to come home 3rd. Billy Decker turned in a season best 4th place finish, along with 1 segment win to finish 4th.Only 10 pieces of track behind, Jim Levan scored 1 segment win to close out the Top 5.

Another strong field of 17 racers was in the pits. Good to see new faces turning in solid runs. Billy Decker 4th, Tim”Big T” Bowers 6th, Toby Reinhard scoring his 1st Cup win and a good 7th place finish, Brian Vanbuskirk 9th, and Tony Zappacosta with a 12th place. The boundary issue seems to be picking up again; photos were taken and sent to me of the person in question. I feel a fine or suspension is possible.
