Levan, Gilmore Share Tuesday Night Wins

Cup action returned to "Monks" short track and Jim Levan returned to the
winners circle


scoring his 2nd cup win of the year, winning 4 segments in a very competitive race. Scott Bender turned in a season best 2nd place finish winning 1 segment. Only 5 pieces of track behind, Billy Decker turned in a solid 3rd place finish winning 1 segment. Only 1 piece of track behind, Bob Amore scored 3 segment wins, keeping his string of top 5 finishes alive was 4th. Only 12 pieces of track behind, Shane Hiester scored his 4th top 5 finish of the year, winning 1 segment, and finishing 5th.
6th Mark Williams (2wins), 7th Sheldon Hiester (1win), 8th Randy Haydt, 9th Toby Reinhard 10th Dennis Kercher.
 

Gilmore Claims Sprint Win

Kenny Gilmore continued to dominant the sprint class with his 5th straight win and 7th of the season. Sheldon Hiester recorded his best Sprint car run, winning 1 segment, finishing 2nd.Only 7 pieces of track behind Randy Haydt won 4 segments finishing 3rd. Only 10 pieces of track behind, Jim Levan scored 3 segment wins to finish 4th. Billy Decker capped off a good night winning 1 segment to come home 5th.

TUESDAY TALK

Close competition in both divisions Cup action saw less than 2 laps among the top 5.Sprint action 2nd to 6th was separated by about 2 laps. Newcomer to field was Randy Oxenrider did good not having any crash outs. A couple weeks ago a complaint was filed about some people standing out of bounds, the issue seemed to be cleared up, but this week on the short track this problem occurred again??.
