Mark Williams drives to a convincing Nascar Victory at Randy’s Raceway

Mark Williams is now 4 for 5 on the 2019 season with a very convincing NASCAR feature win. Mark scored win #4 on the season, Week #2 for  the NASCAR division at Randy’s Raceway. Mark scored 3 race segment wins on the way to victory lane. Finishing in 2nd position was opening day winner, Tom Wenner who scored 4 race segment wins on his way to the runner-up spot. Track Promoter Randy Jay Haydt completed the podium with a 3rd place finish. Randy racing a new Danica themed Bob Amore tribute body, Raced to 2 segment wins. Brian Sponagle who is always tough when the NASCAR Tycos hit the track, Spoons raced to a 4th place finish with 1 segment win. Capping off the top 5 is Mike Mackaravitz who raced to 1 of his best finishes ever at Randy’s Raceway. Mike had a very strong night with 3 race victories in scoring his top 5 finish.

Rounding out the top 10 are, Toby Reinhard in 6th, Toby had 4 race victories and just missed cracking the top 5 by 5 track segments. Corey Reinhard finished in 7th, 1 with race victory. Chris Brubacher finished in 8th in a newly rebuilt and fast race car. John K. finished in 9th spot and Jim Levan finished in 10th spot. Billy Decker finished 11th, Scott Bender finished 12th, Hiram Durant finished 13th, Tony Z. finished 14th, James H. finished 15th, Joel L. finished 16th, Larry S. finished 17th, Robert L. finished 18th.

Track Promoters Randy J. & Little T will be displaying special display cases at each track to commemorate Bob Amore’s contribution and dedication to the hobby. Randy showed the racers in attendance the displays and asked if anyone has rolling Tyco chassis to donate for the cases, Please see Randy if you can help. Once again, An incredible show of support from the racers – 18 racers in attendance – Some of our regulars were missing as well. Randy’s Raceway continues to show why it is the premier place to race Tyco’s on the East Coast. The string of efficient race nights ended this week, Tuesday’s event ran past the 9pm curfew. Mark Williams continues to set the bar each week, Victory #4 on the season. Mark is super focus and very ready for the season long battle. There was tight racing all night on the 8 lane oval. This week October 8th, The action moves to the challenging Tri-Oval with the Tyco Modifieds back on the track.
