Sportsmen racing returned to Randy’s Raceway for it’s 2nd race of the season, and it’s 1st on the Tri-Oval, and Mark Williams ran his brightly colored #7 to a close win. Mark claimed 4 segment wins on way to his 1st Sportsmen win. Shane Hiester(-12) scored 4 segment wins on way to a good 2nd place finish. Opening night winner Sheldon Hiester scored 2 segment wins on the middle lanes to come home 3rd. Bryan Kisthart scored 1 segment win on lane 6 for another steady 4th place run. Scott Bender didn’t win a segment but turned in a 5th place finish.

Mark win makes him the 1st repeat winner this year after 6 events. There did seem to be some boundary issues again, mostly between lanes 4 & 5 ? Hopefully Randy will address this problem next week ! NEXT WEEK: Modified racing returns to the Tri-Oval.
