Cup racing and the IROC final race of the season returned to the Tri – Oval for the final doubleheader of the year. In the Cup opener Mark Williams ran the Budweiser # 50 to 4 segment wins on way to his 3rd Cup win of the season. Finishing in a tie for 2nd was Brian Sponagle and Randy Haydt. Brian scored 2 segment wins turning in another good run on the Tri – Oval. Randy also scored 2 segment wins for his 5th straight Top 5 finish of the year. Only 4 pieces of track behind, Billy Decker ran his Olive Garden # 25 to 1 segment win, his 5th top 5 finish of the season, to a good 4th place finish. Looking to make it 2 Cup wins in a row Jim LeVan scored 1 segment win to finish 5th.
6th Toby Reinhard ( 1 win ) / 7th Cory Reinhard / 8th Adam Zappacosta / 9th John Kosmoski / 10th Tony Zappacosta ( 1 win ).
Randy Haydt Scores Third IROC Win
It was the final IROC race of the year, running Aurora T-Jets with the fine looking Reading Fairgrounds bodies. Scoring the win in the 5 lap event was Randy Haydt scoring 1 segment win to take the win. With the win Randy scored the IROC championship by only 1 point. Only 20 pieces of track behind, Cory Reinhard claimed 2 segment wins for a career best 2nd place finish. Jim LeVan and Billy Decker crossed the line in a tie for 3rd. Jim scored 1 segment win, along with Billy, who also scored his best IROC finish of the year. Toby Reinhard closed out a good IROC season, scoring 1 segment win to finish 5th.

PIT TALK:
Good Cup finishes by Brian Sponagle 2nd and Billy Decker 4th. In IROC action Cory Reinhard 2nd and Bill Decker Tie for 3rd. Was told by someone ?? too mention that Mark Williams had a slow start on lane 1 how someone put him down a lap ? Thanks to Brian Sponagle for the great looking IROC cars he did, and were a lot of fun racing.
