It was the season ending Cup race Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Mark Williams running the Budweiser #50 claimed 6 segment wins on way to his 4th win of the season, and also winning the Cup point title. Billy Decker ran the maroon #3 to 4 segment wins on way to a solid 2nd place finish, it was his 6th top 5 finish in Cup action this year. Scoring 7 – 19’s and a high 18, Randy Haydt turned in a steady 3rd place finish. Only 12 pieces of track behind, Scott Bender ran his M&M’s #38 to 1 segment win coming home 4th. Brian Sponagle capped off a good Cup season scoring 2 segment wins, finishing 5th, it was his 4th Top5 finish this season.

Thanks to Gary Z for sponsoring the final Cup race this year. Good to have Matt Stabinger checking things out hope to see him back to join us for the next season. Chris Brubaker made his 1st Cup race of the year finishing 12th. Mike Fitzgerald was in the field finishing 10th with a segment win. Good to see Brian Vanbuskirk running good scoring a 7th place finish and nearly getting that 1st segment win. Adam Zappacosta finished in 8th place with several lead lap finishes.
