Randy’s Raceway Memorial Triple Crown Racing Series 🏁

Tuesday, October 17th – The 1st leg of the famous Randy’s Raceway Triple Crown Memorial Series kicks off on Tuesday Night at the new and improved Randy’s Raceway.

The Triple Crown Memorial Series in the 3rd of year of series racing will once again be honoring and remembering our great friends from the Slot Car Hobby – Rob London, Sam Heller, and Bob Amore.

📅 Rob London was a weekly racer at Randy’s Raceway and had a true passion for slot car racing anything with 4 wheels on it. He loved variety and when Randy’s Raceway started the vintage coupe racing Rob took a liking to the vintage feel of the racing action. We miss Rob’s spirit and will celebrate Rob’s memory on Tuesday, October 17th with the Rob London Memorial Vintage Coupe TYCO 440×2 Modified Memorial Series race on 6 Lane Oval.

📅 On December 5th, Leg #2 of the Memorial Triple Crown Series will be held honoring the memory of Sam Heller. Slammin’ Sammy would visit Randy’s Raceway everytime racing action would hit the famous Randy’s Raceway Tub track. Sam loved road racing, and he loved to compete on those road course tracks. Sam had an infectous spirit for the hobby and was loved by everyone. Sam is greatly missed today by all racers. We will remember Sam and honor him by racing the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown Memorial Series on December 5th using Tyco 440×2 Nascar Race Cars on the Randy’s Raceway Wiz Road Course.

📅 On January 23rd, The final leg of the Memorial Triple Crown Series will be held at Randy’s Raceway. This time we honor a guy who gave all us a ton of enjoyment through his business and was a long time racer at every track in the region, We will remember Bob Amore in the final leg of the series with a TYCO 440×2 Modified Race. Bob’s Slot Car Bodies are still used today by many racers. Memorial display cases of Bob’s custom bodywork hang in the Randy’s Raceway shop. Bob was friend to everyone, He would turn out bodies at an amazing speed and would never turn down a request for a custom body to be built. In the pit area, Bob was skilled racer who always offered a car to a racer or assistance on tuning a race car. Bob is another friend who we all miss greatly, we will honor Bob on January 23, 2024 with a Modified Race that is raced using all bodies that Bob built.
