Cory Reinhard won the Cup event and his Dad Toby won the IROC event as the action moved over to the Tricky Tri-Oval. A field of 18 racers was on hand for the double show and a very orderly event was spun off in a short time. For Cory Reinhard this was his third feature win overall this season already, and his first in the NASCAR class. It was his second career win in NASCAR after winning 4 segments. The young Boyertown racer was very impressive winning tough segments over veteran Jim LeVan in the middle lanes. Second spot went to Mark Williams who was the Opening Night winner. Williams took 4 segment wins as well in his #50 racer. Third spot went to Jim LeVan who won three segments in his Orange #40. Fourth was Randy Haydt (AKA Mr NASCAR) who won a single segment on lane 5. Rounding out the top five was Brian Sponagle who won 4 segments on the evening.

Toby Reinhard won the opener for IROC in the Spoons prepared T-Jet Coupes. This was Reinhard’s second career IROC Feature win. 13 racers took the green and only 14 pieces of track separated the winner from 11th place. There were actually 3 ties in the event. Three drivers tied for the win and 2 more for 5th spot. With the exact same scores were T.Reinhard, Brian Sponagle and Randy Haydt for the win. After the tie breakers were worked out that was the top three. Fourth went to Hiram Durant followed by Brian VanBuskirk.

Great job by Spoons preparing the Coupes. Rumor had it the T-Jet Ace Hiram Durant had a hand in them this week. Speaking of Hiram who has become a regular runner here on Tuesday nights in was great seeing him grab a top 5 and record his first career segment win in the IROC show. 10 different drivers won segments in the IROC Class and 6 in the Cup show. Spanky did a great job lining up the cars on the infield even with the swampy conditions.
