The second season of modified racing opened on Sunday at RMS with twin 15’s
kicking off the season. Ryan Reitz and Rich Schmidt tied for the win in the opener. Each won 3 segments. Jim Levan scored 1 segment win to finish third, Bill Rowley fourth, Scott Bender fifth.
Reitz Collects Win in 2nd Race
Ryan Reitz finished off a great opening day with a return to victory lane in race 2, just like race1, Ryan won 3 segments turning in the same score as in race 1. Rich Schmidt missed out on the win by only 2 pieces of track while winning 3 segments. Jim Levan scored 2 segment wins on way to a third place finish. Scott Bender won 1 segment to claim fourth, Bill Rowley also won 1 segment to finish fifth.
Racing returns to RMS on Sunday October 18 with Twin 20s. Warm ups 12, racing at 1.
