Shane Hiester & Brian Sponagle split the Coupe Modified and IROC Doubleheader at Randy’s Raceway
Shane Hiester closed the Coupe Modified Tri-Oval season at Randy’s Raceway with a strong win Tuesday Night. Shane won 4 of the 6 segments to score the win easily covering the win by 24 track sections. Finishing in 2nd place was Matt Light coming off a very strong season of racing at Randy’s Raceway with 1 segment win. Track promoter Randy Jay Haydt completes the podium with 1 segment win only 3 track sections out of 2nd place.

Brian Sponagle uses home field advantage and scores a popular TYCO 440×2 Nascar Truck IROC Feature Win. Spoons narrowly edged Michael Mackaravitz by 2 track segments to take the win. Brian Sponagle had 1 segment win in the IROC victory. Michael Mackaravitz finished 2nd just missing the win, Mike had 2 segment wins with the great run. Wrapping up a strong night in Kutztown was Shane Hiester with a 3rd place. Shane won 2 segments in his 2nd podium visit of the night.

16 for Coupe Modified & 14 for IROC NASCAR, A great night for attendance. Thank You to everyone for coming out and supporting Randy’s Raceway. A new visitor in the house this week – Mr. R-10, Kevin Sponagle joined the racing action. It was great having Bear- Mike Feltenberger back squeezing the trigger. Chris Brubaker joined us after a few weeks off. There are only 5 weeks of Tuesday night racing action remaining at Randy’s Raceway this season.
