Randy won 4 segments on the night and scored the feature win by 11 track sections. Finishing a strong 2nd with a brand new Kyle Larson #5 car was Matt Light. Matt’s Hendrick Cars ride was flying as Matt made a consistent run to 2nd place. Our 3rd Place finisher, Sheldon Hiester has been red hot this season. Winston Cup Notes:
11 drivers in attendance. It must have been a full moon last night. The action on the Randy’s Raceway Tri-O was crazy. 2 drivers crashed out in separate segments, Many were on the bubble. 97 de-slots for the event. Brian Sponagle had the best car control on the night with only 4 de-slots for the event. Word from the promoter is that Scott Bender will be enjoying the racer of the week parking spot on his next visit. It seems like everyone is on their mark trying to avoid the coveted parking spot each week. Thank You to all of our racers for the support each week. You make it fun every week. The 20th anniversary season is flying past us at a record pace. Get well wishes go out to Hiram Durant who was absent this week. There was a tear down of the winner and 2 other cars this week. Randy Jay Haydt, Tom Wenner and Bill Decker were torn down. All were deemed legal after the tech session.
