Troy Bowers scored his biggest career win
at the annual Fairgrounds Mall Race night. The traveling Randy’s Raceway six lane was the site of the latest win for the Bernville racer. Bowers won all 6 segments and won the tiebreaker over Brett Gilmore who also won his 6 segments and kept his mastery of the portable track in order. Scott Bender was on fire winning 4 segments and grabbing his best finish this season coming home third. Bender completed the night just a few pieces of track away from the win. Fourth was the steady veteran Jim Levan winning 3 segments in his familiar modified. Shane Hiester wound up 5th winning 2 segments. The rest of the top ten were Tim Bowers Sr., Bill Brenner, Bob Amore, Sheldon Hiester and Steven Kercher
A Side Note From Randy
Monk and I would like to thank all of Randy’s Raceway racers and other non racers who helped at the mall show. The show was another success this year with great attendance by the public. Yes it may be long hours, but the fun everyone had racing on the track was worth it.
