The sprint cup portion of the season opened on Tuesday night with Mark Williams scoring 2 segment wins
on way to a hard earned win. Chasing Mark across the line Bob Amore scored 3 segment wins on way to a 2nd place finish. Only 11 pieces of track behind, Billy Decker scored 2 segment wins taking home a solid 3rd place finish. Brett Gilmore scored 3 segment wins finishing 4th, Brett missed a 3rd place finish by only 13 pieces of track. And only 8 pieces of track behind, Scott Bender finished fifth.
6th Jim Levan (2wins), 7th Shane Hiester, 8th Randy Haydt, 9th Sheldon Hiester, 10thToby Reinhard.
GILMORE TAKES SPRINT OPENER
The sprint cars also opened their season on Tuesday night going 15 laps and Kenny Gilmore again dominated winning all 6 segments on way to the opening night win. Mark Williams looking for an early season sweep ran good winning 4 segments, came home 2nd. Late entry Randy Haydt won 1 segment finishing 3rd. (who asked him to race?) Shane Hiester turned in 1 segment win, on lane 1, to score a nice 4th place run. Jim Levan scored a fifth place finish winning 1 segment, with steady 14s all night.

TUESDAY TALK:
The 2 divisions of racing finished around 9:10, good job to everyone for keeping everything moving along. Close action in the Cup class as less than 1 lap seperated 2nd to 6th. Good to see Toby Reinhard making his initial starts in both classes and finishing 8th in sprints. Next week modifieds return on the 8-lane.
