Mark Williams won the season’s final Modified feature sweeping all 8 segments on his way to his second straight victory. Williams drove the Kenny Gilmore prepared #14 to the win. Shane Hiester ran a strong race to come home second winning 3 segments in his #357. Sheldon Hiester was third at the line winning 4 segments in his blue #20. Fourth spot went to Reading High Alumi Scott Bender in his Chico Bailey ride. Bender won 2 segments as he scored his best finish in awhile. Rounding out the top 5 was Toby Reinhard who had his best finish of the season.
Modified Madness
19 racers were on hand for the final Modified show at the Berks oval. Jim Levan ran his #83 Coupe bodied racer and wound up 8th on the evening. Cory Reinhard finished a nice 11th in the race and held onto his top ten in points. Justin Fake had some nice runs and improved his scores in each race as the night went on. Dennis Kersher ran a Heister car and had a nice 12th place. Two more point shows of the season followed by the Awards Banquet, Anniversary race and Rules meeting.
