Mark Williams won the season’s final Modified feature sweeping all 8 segments on his way to his second straight victory. Williams drove the Kenny Gilmore prepared #14 to the win. Shane Hiester ran a strong race to come home second winning 3 segments in his #357. Sheldon Hiester was third at the line winning 4 segments in his blue #20. Haydt Scores Close Cup Win

Cup racing returned to the Short Track and yet another down to the wire race as Randy Haydt scored 5 segment wins as he “coasted” to his 4th Cup win of the year. It was only 6 pieces of track, as Mark Williams turned in his best Cup run since opening day, winning 5 segments for a 2nd place finish. Only 17 pieces of track behind, Shane Hiester continued his impressive run of top 5 finishes, scoring 3 segment wins, for a 3rd place finish. [Read more…]
Williams Wins First Modified Feature

Mark Williams returned to the winners circle in the modified division after a long absence at Randy’s Raceway. Williams drove a new #14 Slot Body Central bodied modified to an 8 segment win night. Second spot went to Sheldon Hiester who drove his fast #20 to 6 segment wins in his Hiesters special. Younger brother Shane finished 3rd with 5 segment wins in his #357. Fourth was veteran Jim Levan who won 2 segments and rounding out the top five was steady Billy Decker.
