Mark Williams scored his third and fourth Modified wins of the season in the twin 15 show on the Tri-Oval at Randy’s Raceway.  Williams driving the Gilmore Motorsports #14 won 5 segments in each show to score narrow wins over 2 cagey veterans Billy Decker in the first half and Bob Amore in the night cap.  Williams won on all lanes but one for the first win followed closely by Billy Decker who won 3 segments in his fast yellow modified.  Third spot went to Opening day winner Shane Hiester who wheeled his potent car to 5 segment wins.  [Read more…]

Cup racing made it’s 2nd start of the season this time on the 8 lane Speedway and Mark Williams ran his Wheaties#3 to 6 segment wins on way to a close win. Mark’s win was only 9 pieces of track ahead of Shane Hiester who ran the Miller Lite#2 to 5 segment wins to finish 2nd. Mark Williams won his second straight Modified feature of the young season.  Williams won driving the Gilmore #7 replica slot car.  Winning 6 segments on the evening, missing on lane 2 and getting caught and passed on the final lap by Corey Bailey on lane 8.  Second spot went to veteran Shane Hiester who continued his early season hot streak winning a segment on lane 2.  Third was older brother Sheldon Hiester who wound up 3rd for the second straight race.  [Read more…]

The 2nd Race of the season for the Sportsman Division took place on Tuesday Night on the Tri-Oval, and 2 Time and defending Sportsman Champion Shane Hiester won the race by winning all 6 segments on the night.  Second place went to Bryan Kisthart who won 4 segments on the night in a strong run again. This T-jet racer is starting to get good in the magnet cars, look out for his 1st win to come sometime soon.  Third place went to Sheldon Hiester who won 2 segments on the night. [Read more…]
