by Mark Williams
Brett Gilmore won the Sportsman feature on Tuesday night taking 5 segments along the way.
Runner up this time was Shillington’s Shane Hiester who keeps getting closer in this division to that first feature win. Hiester driving the stock Tyco slot cars that his Dad made famous on area tracks took 1 segment win. Third spot went to Fleetwood’s Kenny Gilmore who won 4 segments in a rare start. Fourth was Sheldon Hiester who won a tough segment on lane 1 followed closely by his back up car with Mark Williams driving. Williams also won 1 segment.
Haydt Scores I R O C Win
Randy Haydt won his third I R O C feature this year driving the stock Magna Tractions expertly prepared by Mark Williams. Haydt won 3 segments and the computer did the rest. Second to MR I R O C was Sheldon Hiester who holds the season points lead. Heister also won 3 segments but did not enter the scores into the computer. Welcome back in a big way to Easton’s Billy Decker. Decker proved he did not forget how to squeeze the trigger and came home third. Fourth spot went to Royersford racer Mark Williams with 1 segment win. Rounding out the top five was Shane Hiester.
Notes
When Scott gets back next week hopefully someone will show him where to stand. Also please note that Randy made a bunch of progress on the cup holder. It’s laying on the floor now. The mall show is coming together and we will have info at next weeks race about the store location.
