Brett Gilmore returned to
the familiar 8 lane oval that has been his personal track this season
and took
7 out of 8 segments on way to yet another Modified win at Randy’s
Raceway. Gilmore made it look easy in the second to last race for this
season. Bob Amore wound up a solid second winning 2 segments and was
strong all night. Third in the field of 19 racers was Jim Levan in
his familiar #6 coupe. Levan won 3 segments. Veteran Sam Heller who
announced he plans to go road course racing next season finished fourth with 3
segment wins and was chased across the line by Easton’s Billy Decker who turned
8 consistent finishes into another top five run in 08/09.
