Jim LeVan & Matt Light split Randy’s Raceway Twin-10 TYCO NASCAR feature events to open the 2022 schedule
TYCO NASCAR Twin-10 Race #1
The New Year clicked over to 2022 and Jim LeVan came ready to race in the opening race of the 2nd half schedule for Randy’s Raceway. Jim’s orange rocket scored 3 segment wins on the way to a very close feature finish. Jim won the feature event by 3 sections of track over Matt Light. Matt Light has been on a tear at Randy’s Raceway of late as he narrowly missed the feature event win by 3 sections of track. Light finished 2nd, scoring 4 segment wins. The quick 10 lap races kept the racing tight all night long. Finishing in 3rd with a strong run on the 8 lane oval was Chris Brubaker. Chris scored 2 segment wins in his run to the podium.

TYCO Nascar Twin-10 Race #2
Matt Light captures the nightcap 10 lap Nascar feature event with a strong 4 segment winning run on the Randy’s Raceway 8 Lane Oval. Matt had a very strong night of racing with a close 2nd place finish in the opening race and a feature event win in the nightcap. Congrats to Matt on the strong night of racing. Finishing in 2nd place in the nightcap event was Brian Sponagle. Spoons scored 3 segment wins in his run to 2nd place. Wrapping up the podium for race #2 was opening race winner Jim LeVan. Jim scored 1 segment win on his run to his 2nd podium of the night.

Daytona Rumblings:
17 Racers in the house. Twin-10 Lap events created a quick running Nascar twin-bill. Lanes 1 to 6 in the 1st 10 lap event. 3 to 8 in the 2nd 10 lap event. Lynn Wetzel and Greg Leedy returned to action at the Kutztown Speed Plant. Each Twin race carried individual season points. Keep a watch to those Nascar Points.
