The donation for this race will be $5.00, which will enter you in both races if you so choose.

Brett Gilmore made his 1st Cup start of the season a sweep on way to the win on the Tri-Oval. It was the 3rd different winner in this division. Opening night winner Randy Haydt scored 3 segment wins, on way to a 2nd place finish. Less than 1 lap behind, Sheldon Hiester scored 3 segment wins, winning on lanes 1 & 2, to come home 3rd. Only 12 pieces of track behind was Jim Levan winning 1 segment, on way to a 4th place finish. Mark Williams had a slow start on lanes 1 & 2 ( mostly because he had to deal with Randy at the scoring table most of the night ) but still scored 2 segment wins finishing 5th.

Brett Gilmore won for the fifth time. this young season and continued his streak in the Modified division at Randy’s Raceway. Gilmore won 7 of his 8 segments and just missed a perfect by 1 section of track. Shane Hiester scored another runner-up finish winning 2 segments. Third went to Toby Reinhard who won his first 3 career segments on his way to an outstanding third place finish. Fourth was Scott Bender winner of 1 segment. Rounding out the top five was Bob Amore who had his best run on the 8 lane in awhile winning 2 segments.
Tuesday November 26, 2010 was the second race for the Sportsman and IROC divisions at Randy’s Raceway for the 2010 – 2011 season. There were 15 drivers in attendance for the event. Taking the win on Monk’s short track was Sheldon Hiester. Sheldon drove the Josh Biever prepared Sportsman to 5 victories on the night. Second went to little brother Shane Hiester who drove his Brad “Pap Pap” Brightbill to 4 victories on the night for a close second place finish. Coming home third on the night was Lim Levan in another one of his really slow cars. Jim won 1 segment on the night.

Brett Gilmore once again won the Modified feature at Randy’s Raceway. This time he had to out duel his Dad Kenny Gilmore who made a rare start in the Modified division. Brett won 5 segments including a tough race on lane one when he had to make up a big gap. Kenny Gilmore in his fast Green machine won 5 segments as well. Third spot went to Readings Scott Bender who won 2 segments and turned in his best performance in quite some time. Bender drove his beautiful Bailey replica racer. Shane Hiester wound up fourth winning 3 segments on the evening. Rounding out the top five was Bill Brenner driving his Eric Beard wrenched dirt car. Brenner won 1 segment. The rest of the top ten were as follows, Eric Beard, Sheldon Hiester, Jim Levan, Mark Williams and Alex Amore.

The second Cup race of the year was on Monks short track, it was another competitive race as Jim Levan scored his 1st Cup win of the year. Jim won 4 segments on lanes 1-4, on way to the win. Only 20 pieces of track behind Shane Hiester scored 3 segment wins turning in a strong 2nd place effort. Last Years Cup champion Bob Amore continued his strong runs on the short track scoring 2 segment wins to finish 3rd. Sheldon Hiester won 2 segments to claim a 4th place finish. Mark Williams won1 segment to round out the top 5. 6th Scott Bender – 7th Randy Haydt – 8th Brett Gilmore (4wins) – 9th Toby Reinhard – 10th Billy Decker.

Brett Gilmore won for the third straight time in the modified division and continues his mastery of this division. This time he won 5 segments although he was lapped once on his lane 1 run. Second spot went to the fast Reading racer Jim Levan. Levan won 4 races on the tri-oval. Third spot was Bob Amore who also won 4 segments. Rounding out the top five in fourth was Sheldon Hiester followed by little brother Shane.
Tuesday Night was the 2010-2011 season opener for the Sportsman and I R O C divisions. The Sportsman race had 13 drivers on hand for the event. The event was won by Shillington, PA’s Shane Hiester winning 5 of 6 segments on the Tri-Oval, missing the perfect night by only 2 track sections. Second went to Bob Amore winning 4 segments on his way to a good run. Third went to Mark Williams who won 2 segments and was the driver who kept Shane from his perfect night. Fourth went to Randy Haydt who ran on the lead lap in every segment but couldn’t get the segment win. Rounding out the top 5 was Sheldon Hiester who won 1 segment. The Sixth through tenth finishers were: 6th- Billy Decker, 7th- John Kosmoski, 8th-Jim Levan, 9th-Brian Vanbuskirk, and 10th- Cory Reinhart.

Brett Gilmore scored his 2nd modified win of the year winning all 8 segments on way to almost a perfect night with only 1 come off. Shane Hiester turned in a strong 2nd place run, winning 2 segments. Eric Beard continued his strong early season winning 4 segments on lanes 1-4 finished 3rd. Alex Amore making his 1st start of the year won 2 segments finishing 4th. Jim Levan ran steady all night to post a 5th place finish. 6th Sheldon Hiester / 7th Scott Bender / 8th Billy Decker 9th / Toby Reinhard 10th / Bob Amore
