Veteran Jim LeVan took advantage of his number 2 draw and won three segments on his way to a victory in the final Nascar feature of the season. With the win LeVan was able to lock up the point title on the last evening. In addition to the 3 segment wins that the Reading Racer had he also only had a single fall-off. Second went to Mark Williams who won 4 segments and fell 6 points short of winning the Nascar title this season. Third spot went to the Boyertown Bullet Cory Reinhard driving out of team TCS. MARK WILLIAMS SCORES MODIFIED WIN

Mark Williams turned in a “Sweep” on way to his 12th Modified win of the season. It was a” tenacious “battle for the Runner-Up spot, Jim Levan scored 3 segment wins scoring a solid 2nd place finish. Just 5 pieces of track behind Toby Reinhard scored 1 segment win had only 5 fall offs to finish 3rd. Just 8 pieces of track behind Billy Decker turned in a season best 4th place finish with a steady run of 19’s and 1 segment win. Good run for John Kosmoski scoring 1 segment win for his 2nd Top5 finish of the season. Brian Sponagle was 6th win 1 segment win , Tom Wenner 7th with 2 segment wins, Scott Bender 8th, Randy Haydt was 9th with 1 segment win and Ed Kenderdine was 10th with 1 segment win.
Pit Talk:With the season nearing it’s end pit area still full with 20 racers signed in. Looks like lane 2 was the hot lane as 7 drivers scored segment wins on that lane.Good Having Lauden S back with us just missed out on a Top10, finishing 11th. Good run for Youngster James H finishing 13th. Next Week Nascar closes out its season on the 8 lane. Mark what is the # on your car?
Haydt and Sponagle Split Twin Bill

Randy Haydt won the Sprint Car Final Feature of the season and also decided the season’s Point Battle in the process. Haydt scored 4 segment wins in his very fast Sprinter. The win was his overall 4th feature this season at his Namesake tracks but his first in a Sprint Car. It was a milestone win as well as it was his 70th overall Career Win placing him third all-time. Haydt scored a 13 section of track win over Mark Williams who moved into the point lead on the final night of racing, dropping Cory Reinhard to second. Sheldon Hiester Scores Berks Series Win

It was the final race of the season for the BLMRS on Saturday at Randy’s Raceway. Before a season high of 21 racers, Sheldon Hiester scored 4 segment wins on way to a 1 lap win. Mark Williams had a strong start winning his 1st 4 segments turning in a strong 2nd place finish. Making his 1st start in the Berks Series Mike Fitzgerald scored 3 segment wins holding on to a close 3rd place finish. Just 4 pieces of track behind Scott Bender scored 1 segment win, his 2nd Top5 finish this year was 4th. Cory Reinhard scored 1 segment win holding on for a close 5th place finish.
