Bryan Kisthardt Gets Second Cup Win
Doubleheader action was on tap for the 8 lane fast track Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway. The opening night winner Bryan Kisthardt ran his Budweiser #8 to 5 segment wins on way to his 2nd Cup win of the year. Mark Williams battled back from a slow start on lane 1 due to rear gear issues but still collected 3 segment wins on way to a 2nd place finish. After winning his 1st segment in the last Cup race Cory Reinhart turned in 2 more segment wins on way to a career best 3rd place finish. Scott Bender ran his M&M’s #38 to a 4th place finish his 2nd Top 5 run of the year. Billy Decker ran the Olive Garden #25 to a 5th place finish his 3rd Top 5 of the Cup season.

Mark Williams Scores IROC Win
Race 3 of the IROC season were run with Aurora T-Jets with well detailed throw back paint schemes, thanks to Brian Sponagle. Mark Williams scored 2 segment wins on way to a very close win, his 1st IROC win of the season. Marks win was by only 3 pieces of track ahead of Bryan Kisthardt who scored 1 segment win to finish 2nd. Making his 1st IROC start of the season Dave Fitzgerald turned in a very strong 3rd place finish. Dave was only 3 pieces of track behind Bryan. Brian Sponagle scored 1 segment win, for a good 4th place finish his 3rd Top 5 IROC finish. Winner of the IROC opener Toby Reinhart scored 2 segment wins to finish 5th.

It was the 2nd doubleheader of the year Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway with NASCAR racing up 1st on the challenging Tri-Oval and Mark Williams turned in a sweep on way to his 1st Cup win of the season. Billy Decker ran his Olive Garden #25 to 2 segments wins to continue his strong early season, with a 2nd place finish. Bryan Kisthardt scored a segment win on lane 6 to finish 3rd.Less than 1 lap behind Randy Haydt who scored 2 segment wins to come home 4th.. Jim Levan turned in a steady run to score a 5th place finish.

RANDY HAYDT SCORES CLOSE IROC WIN.
In the action packed night cap featuring AFX Non Magna Traction cars Randy Haydt scored 3 segment wins on way to a close win, his 1st IROC win of the season. Only 19 pieces of track behind Brian Sponagle finished off a good night with 3 segment wins for a solid 2nd place finish. Only 16
pieces of track off the pace Brian Kisthardt scored 3 segment wins to come home 3rd. Trailing Brian by only 15 pieces of track was Mark Williams scored 2 segment wins for a 4th place finish. “BULLDOZER” Billy Decker scored a segment win on lane 5 to round out the Top 5.

TRI-OVAL TALK
Good having John Kosmoski back again and scoring 2 8th place finishes. Cory Reinhard had a strong 7th place Cup finish along with a segment win and Adam Z continues to improve scoring a 9th place finish. In IROC racing Brian Sponagle had a good night with a 2nd place IROC finish and 6th in Cup racing. Thanks to Brian K for preparing the IROC cars which were a lot of fun.

Mark Williams, Toby Reinhard Tuesday Night Winners
It was the 1st “Twin Bill” on the schedule Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Mark Williams opened the 6 race Sprint car season with the win. Mark claimed 4 segment wins on to the win. Scott Bender scored 2 segment wins on way to a career best 2nd place finish. Bryan Kisthardt had a rare crash out, then rebounded to score 2 segment wins coming home 3rd. Randy Haydt also scored 2 segment wins to finish 4th. Billy Decker also had a early crash out but came back to win a segment on lane 8 to score a 5th place finish.
SPRINT STUFF:
Good having Brian Vanbuskirk back with us. Brian Sponagle turned in a good 7th place effort with 2 lead lap runs. And Tony Zapacosta had a nice 8th place finish with no crash outs!

Toby Reinhard Scores 1st IROC Win
In race 2 it was the IROC season opener running Tyco Pan Chassis cars going 8 laps and Toby Reinhard continued his strong early season scoring his 1st career IROC win by scoring 3 segment wins.Toby’s win was only 26 pieces of track ahead of runner up Mark Williams who won 2 segments on the outer lanes. Brian Sponagle turned in a solid 3rd place finish, scoring 1 segment win. Bryan Kisthardt also scored 1 segment win to finish 4th. Brian Vanbuskirk also scored 1 segment win for a career best 5th place finish.

IROC Items:
Jody Williams made her debut in IROC racing, after a crash out on lane 2, got better each segment. Thanks to Billy Decker for his work he put in on the Pan Chassis cars that everyone enjoyed.

Bryan Kisthardt Wins Cup Opener
NASCAR Cup racing kicked off the 15th season of racing at Randy’s Raceway and Byran Kisthardt started the season off with the win. Bryan turned in 6 segment wins in his Budweiser # 8 to score the win. Mark Williams ran his red # 50 to 3 segment wins on the middle lanes to finish 2nd. Only 8 pieces of track behind Toby Reinhard collected his career best Cup effort coming home 3rd, scoring 2 segment wins. Billy Decker ran his Olive Garden # 25 to 1 segment win for a good season opening 4th place finish. Scott Bender ran his M & M’s # 38 to a 5th place finish.

OPENING NIGHT NOTES:
Good having Tim “Little T” Bowers in the field. Congrats to Toby Reinhard on his 3rd place effort. And improving Adam Z ran a Billy Decker back up to a 10th place run, including 2 lead lap finishes.

End of Season Drivers Meeting
It was the season ending rules meeting held at Randy’s Raceway on Tuesday night. A group of 9 gathered to share ideas for the upcoming season. Those attending were Jim Levan, Cory & Toby Reinhard, Mark Williams, Brian Vanbuskirk, Dave & Mike Fitzgerald, Brian Sponagle & Brian Kisthardt.
MODIFIEDS: No changes.
NASCAR: No changes.
Sportsmen Division will be eliminated, IROC racing will be a 9 race season running 7 different chassis cars using stock track controllers. The final 2 races will be determined by a vote of the most popular car class. IROC racing will also include 1 race on the Tub Track.
Sprint cars will run a 6 race season running only on the 8 lane.
A Modified or NASCAR chassis built to Randy’s Raceway car building specs can be modified with these changes:
Rules for this class:
Pinion Gear: 7 or 8 tooth
Crown Gear: 20 – 24
Front Axle: Any front axle allowed
Bodies: Open to paper, lexan, or hard body
Wings: Top wing 1 x1 minimum, Side Wing no more than 1/2 high side wing
Jim Levan Wins Cup Finale
It was the season finale Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway with NASCAR action on the Tri-Oval and veteran Jim Levan closed out the season with a convincing win. Jim ran his Orange Coors Light #40 to 4 segment wins on way to victory. It was the 6th different winner this year in the Cup division. Billy Decker ran his Olive Garden#25 to a season best 2nd place finish, scoring 2 segment wins, and his 2nd straight Top 5 finish on the Tri-Oval. Brian Sponagle also scored his season best finish winning 3 segments to finish 3rd. Scott Bender ran his Cornflakes #5 to a 4th place finish. Only 1 piece of track behind Mark Williams scored 2 segment wins closing out the Top 5.

PIT TALK: Good way to finish off the season with 15 racers in the pits. Also 8 different segment winners. And gald to see Adam Zappacosta, Paul Williams, Bill Brenner and Chris Brubaker in the Cup field hope to see them back next year.

Toby Reinhard Scores First Career Win
It was the season ending Modified event Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and long time campaigner Toby Reinhard collected his 1st Modified win. Toby scored 1 segment win but was very steady on every lane with a 19.15 his lowest score. Toby also only had 7 come offs. It was a well deserved win as he held off Tim ” BigT ” Bowers by only 4 pieces of track.Tim scored 5 segment wins for a good 2nd place finish. After a slow start on Lane 1 Mike Fitzgerald claimed 3 segment wins to come home 3rd. Bryan Kisthardt scored 1 segment win crossing the line 4th.Only 7 pieces of track behind, Bill Brenner continued his good late season runs in his Eric Beard machine scoring 2 segment wins to finish 5th it was his 2nd straight Top5 finish.

Bryan Kisthart Scores Cup Win
It was the final IROC race of the season this time running Johnny Lightning T-Jets as Randy Haydt scored 1 segment win on way to a close win his 2nd IROC win of the season. Randy’s win was by only 3 pieces of track over Bryan Kisthart who scored 2 segment wins. Only 3 pieces of track behind Bryan, Jim Levan scored 2 segment wins on lanes 2 & 5 to finish 3rd. Brian Sponagle also scored 2 segment wins to come home 4th. Dave Fitzgerald turned in 4 consistent runs on way to a good 5th place finish. THANKS to Brian Sponagle for his work on these IROC cars which ran very good.
Sheldon Hiester Takes 2
NASCAR Cup racing returned to Randy’s Raceway with Twin 15’s on the 8 lane speedway and Sheldon Hiester turned in a sweep. In the opener running a good looking Dupont #24 Sheldon scored 3 segment wins on way to win number 2 of the Cup season. Less than 1 lap behind Shane Hiester also scored 3 segment wins on lanes 4 – 6 to finish 2nd.
