Williams Wins Second Modified Main

Mark Williams won his second Modified Feature of the season at Randy’s Raceway in a field of 25 racers.  The pits were full for the holiday special event on Scott Bender Photo night.  Williams won 5 segments in his bright Green racer and was comfortably ahead of runner-up Randy Haydt.  Haydt did not win a segment but had real consistent runs after struggling on lane 1.  Third spot went to Tom Wenner with 2 segment wins.  The Blandon Racer recorded his best ever finish at the Berks Speedway.  Scott Bender was a strong 4th winner of a single segment and an earlier season Feature winner.  Toby Reinhard had 2 segment wins to come home an impressive 5th in the packed field.  [Read more…]

Mark Williams Sprints to 2nd Win

Sprint cars were on the track for their 3rd race of the season and Mark Williams scored 3 segment wins including a win on lane 1 on way to his 2nd win of the year. Mark’s win was by only 1 lap over Jim LeVan who drew that #2 pill, Jim collected 3 segment wins to finish 2nd. Also less than a lap behind Randy Haydt also scored 3 segment wins to finish 3rd. Cory Reinhard had a strong run scoring 2 segment wins and a win on lane 1 to finish 4th. Scott Bender scored a 5th place finish to close out the Top 5.

6th Billy Decker ( 1 win ) / 7th Lauden Seigfreid / 8th Brian Vanbuskirk / 9th Savannah /  Cunnius / 10th Nick Wummer.

LeVan Wins Modified Main Event

Jim LeVan out of Reading PA won his first Modified feature of the season at Randy’s Raceway.  LeVan won all lanes except lane 1 on his way to career win number 9.  Jim kept falloffs to a minimum and had an overall score of 119 / 7.  Mark Williams was runner-up for the second time in a row in his bright Pink racer.  Williams won 3 segments and missed the top spot by 7 pieces of track.  Third on the evening went to hard charging Cory Reinhard.  The Boyertown Ace won just 1 segment but was very close in 3 others.  Fourth spot went to the current points leader Randy Haydt winner of 4 segments.  [Read more…]

Randy Haydt Gets Second Cup Win

Before a record field of 23 racers filling the pit area Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway Randy Haydt scored 3 segment wins on way to his 2nd Cup win of the season. It was the 1st repeat winner this year after 5 Cup races. Randy’s win was by only  5 pieces of track ahead of Jim LeVan  who won 3 segments on the middle lanes to hold on to a close 2nd place run. Only 3 pieces of track behind was Cory Reinhard scoring 1 segment win to finish 3rd. Only 2 pieces of track behind Mark Williams and Brian Sponagle tied for 4th. Cory Reinhard Takes Modified Event

One of the young guns picked up the win last week on the Tri-Oval in the Modified Main event.  Cory Reinhard a Boyertown HS Senior bested a field of 20 racers to earn his second career Modified Feature win at Randy’s Raceway.  Both of his victories have come on the tough Tri-Oval.  Cory also just missed a perfect 6 segment win night by a few pieces of track.  Second went to Mark Williams winner of 3 segments in his pink bodied car.  Third spot went to the fast BK who won 4 segments.  Bryan Kisthardt as he is also know scored another top 3 finish.  Fourth was Randy Haydt who did not get a segment win mainly because he ran Cory for 5 lanes.  Jim LeVan rounded out the top five and won 3 segments on the evening.  Brian Sponagle Aka Spoons was 6th with 3 segment wins followed by John Kosmoski back from sunny Florida in 7th with 1 segment win.  8th went to Toby Reinhard who also won a lone segment.  9th spot was Laudan Seyfreid followed by  Scott Bender.

Jim LeVan Gets 1st Cup Win

Cup racing was back on the fast 8 lane Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Jim LeVan ran his Bright orange machine to his 1st Cup win of the season. Jim was steady all night scoring 4 segment wins on the middle lanes. Mark Williams drew that # 2 pill scored 6 segment wins with 4 of them on lanes 1 – 4, came home 2nd. Cory Reinhard scored 2 segment wins including a win on lane 1 for his best Cup finish this year was 3rd. Just 2 pieces of track behind, Lauden Seigfried scored his best Cup finish with a steady 4th place run. Scott Bender scored 2 segment wins to finish 5th. [Read more…]

Mark Williams Scores 1st Sprint Car Win

Sprint car racing returned to Randy’s Raceway for race 2 of their season Tuesday night and Mark Williams scored 4 segment wins on way to the win.’Mark’s win was by only 11 pieces of track ahead of new comer this year Lauden Seigfried who was making his Sprint car debut. Lauden scored 3 segment wins, including a win on lane 1, on way to a strong 2nd place finish. Opening day winner Jim LeVan scored 3 segment wins to finish 3rd. [Read more…]

Williams Scores 1st Modified Feature of the Season

Mark Williams notched his first Modified win this season in Race 4, on the Tri-Oval.  Williams won 4 segments on his way to a three lap advantage victory.  Second was Cory Reinhard who won 3 segments.  Third spot went to Jim LeVan who won segments on lanes 1 and 2.  Fourth was Toby Reinhard who made a second top 5 for team TCS racing.  Reinhard won his lane 5 segment.  Rounding out the top five was last race winner Randy Haydt.  Haydt won 4 segments before have some issues on lane 6.

 

15 racers on hand for the Modified race and its back to the 8 lane next week for Sprinters.  Laudan turned in another good run with an 8th place finish.  This after winning his first segment to last race out.

Randy Haydt Gets 1st Cup Win

Continuing his strong early season Randy Haydt ran his Kodiak # 27 to 5 segment wins on way to his 1st Cup win of the season. Rebounding from a bad outing, Mark Williams scored 3 segment wins on the outside lanes for a solid 2nd place finish. Bob Amore scored 2 segment wins on lanes 1 & 2, then added another on lane 4 to score a season best 3rd place finish. Chris Brubaker had another good run on the Tri-Oval scored 2 segment wins to come home 4th. Brian Sponagle also had another solid run on the Tri-Oval scored 2 segment wins to finish 5th. Haydt Wins Second Modified Main Event

Veteran Randy Haydt won his second Modified feature of the season and his 6th career win.  In a field of 19 racers on the Tri-Oval for the first time this season Haydt won 4 segments to earn the win.  Second spot went to Mark Williams who got back on track scoring 4 wins on the night.  Third was Bryan Kisthart.  BK had 3 segment wins.  Fourth went to Cory Reinhard who continues his early season success.  Rounding out the top five was Billy Decker who won 3 segments.  The race sheet can be found in the Driver Standings section on this web page.
