Fitzy Wins Career First at Randy’s Raceway

For the second week in a row a veteran campaigner won their career first feature at Randy’s Raceway in Kutztown PA.  Following up on Toby Reinhard’s win last week in the mighty Modifieds Mike Fitzgerald took home the victory in the Sportsman show this week.  Fitzy ran strong on all six lanes of the tri-oval scoring three segment wins and finishing on the lead lap every race.  Season’s point winner Mark Williams was runnerup winning 4 segments.  [Read more…]

Toby Reinhard Scores First Career Win

It was the season ending Modified event Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and long time campaigner Toby Reinhard collected his 1st Modified win. Toby scored 1 segment win but was very steady on every lane with a 19.15 his lowest score. Toby also only had 7 come offs. It was a well deserved win as he held off Tim ” BigT ” Bowers by only 4 pieces of track.Tim scored 5 segment wins for a good 2nd place finish. After a slow start on Lane 1 Mike Fitzgerald claimed 3 segment wins to come home 3rd. Bryan Kisthardt scored 1 segment win crossing the line 4th.Only 7 pieces of track behind, Bill Brenner continued his good late season runs in his Eric Beard machine scoring 2 segment wins to finish 5th it was his 2nd straight Top5 finish.

Bryan Kisthart Scores Cup Win

Cup racing returned to the Tri-Oval Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Bryan Kisthart drew the #1 pill and ran off with his 2nd Cup win of the year. Bryan ran the Budweiser #8 to 5 segment wins. Jim Levan ran his bright orange machine to a strong 2nd place finish winning 1 segment on lane 6. Scott Bender scored his best Cup finish of the year in his Cornflakes #5 to come home 3rd. Billy Decker also scored his best Cup run of the year finishing 4th, including 2 segment wins. Randy Haydt finished 5th to close out the Top 5.

It was the final IROC race of the season this time running Johnny Lightning T-Jets as Randy Haydt scored 1 segment win on way to a close win his 2nd IROC win of the season. Randy’s win was by only 3 pieces of track over Bryan Kisthart who scored 2 segment wins. Only 3 pieces of track behind Bryan, Jim Levan scored 2 segment wins on lanes 2 & 5 to finish 3rd. Brian Sponagle also scored 2 segment wins to come home 4th. Dave Fitzgerald turned in 4 consistent runs on way to a good 5th place finish. THANKS to Brian Sponagle for his work on these IROC cars which ran very good.

2/24/15 Sportsman Results Mark Williams Takes Win

On Tuesday night February 24, 2015 it was Race #7 of the 2014-2015 Season at Randy’s Raceway for the Sportsman division.  Taking the win again was point leader Mark Williams.  Mark won 6 segments on the 8-Lane oval.  Second went to Shane Hiester.  Shane won 2 segments on the night.  Third went to Sheldon Hiester.  Sheldon won 3 segments on the night.  Fourth went to Jim Levan.  This was Jim’s best run of the season in Sportsman.  Rounding out the Top 5 was Bryan Kisthart.  Bryan won 1 segment on the night.  [Read more…]

Williams Wins Modified Main

Mark Williams won the feature on the eight lane oval this week taking 7 of 8 segments on his way to win number 8 on the season.  Williams drove his Kenny Gilmore prepared car to the win.  14 racers were in attendance on the night although a few regulars were missing in action.  Second spot went to Shane Hiester who won lanes 1-3 on the night.  Sheldon Hiester wound up a close third with 2 segment wins and less than a lap behind his brother.  Fourth went to Reading’s Scott Bender who had two segment wins and one of his strongest runs of this season.  [Read more…]
