Mark Williams Tames Tri-Oval

Modified racing moved to the Tri – Oval for the 2nd race of the season Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Mark Williams ran his Gilmore #7 to his 1st feature win of the year. Jim Levan Wins Cup Opener

It was the season opener for NASCAR Cup racing on Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway, and for the 2nd straight season Jim Levan scored the opening night win. Drawing pill #1 Jim ran his bright Orange #1 to 3 segment wins on way to the win. Only 21 pieces of track off the pace Bryan Kisthart turned in his best Cup effort, winning 5 segments for a strong 2nd place finish. [Read more…]

Shane Hiester Wins Modified Opener

It was opening night for the Modifieds at Randy’s Raceway as a strong field of 19 racers signed in, and Shane Hiester turned in a strong performance winning 3 segments on way to the win. Shane’s win was less than 1 lap over Mark Williams who scored 1segment win to come home with a good Runner up finish. Trailing Mark by only 20 pieces of track, Sheldon Hiester scored 2 segment wins on lanes 1 & 2 to finish 3rd. [Read more…]

Sportsman Opener to Defending Champion Shane Hiester

Tuesday September 3, 2013 was the 2013-2014 season opener at Randy’s Raceway in Kutztown, PA.  There were 19 racers on hand for the Sportsman season opener.  Taking the win was defending co-champion Shane Hiester.  Shane won 4 segments on the night in his new Mike Lisowski Sportsman body.  Second went to Billy Decker.  Billy won 4 segments also on the night in his new Kevin Beach Jr. body.  Third went to Mike Fitzgerald.  Mike won 3 segments in his Corey Sechrist sail panel bodied car.  Fourth went to the 2012-2013 Sportsman Rookie of the Year Corey Bailey.  Corey won 1 segment on the night.  [Read more…]

2012-2013 Sportsman Season Review

The 2012-2013 Sportsman division Championship went to Sheldon Hiester and Shane Hiester as co-champs.  Sheldon won 3 races throughout the 9-race season.  Shane won 2 races on the season.  Third went to Fred McCullough.  Fred won 2 races on the season.  Fourth went to Jim Levan.  Jim won 1 race on the season.  Rounding out the top 5 was Randy Haydt.  Randy won 1 feature during the season that was his only win all year in any division.  The rest of the top 10 were: [Read more…]
