Mark Williams won the final two features on the Short Track at Randy’s Raceway.  Williams who had never won on the 6-lane oval in 10 years of trying took the first race in a close one over veteran Mike Bear Feltenberger who was looking for his first career win at the Berks ovals.  In the second race Williams had a safer margin over Points leader Sheldon Hiester.  Williams ran the smooth Sheldon Hiester car to the two feature wins. The Cup point title and season’s final race were on tap for the 8-lane Super Speedway. It was a fun and crazy night of racing as Shane Hiester started off the night winning 6 segments on way to his 3rd Cup win of the year and a share of the NASCAR point title. Shane edged out brother Sheldon for the race win by less than 1 lap. Sheldon scored 3 segment wins for a strong runner up finish. [Read more…]
